The Bronze course is aimed at riders on a learner motorcycle licence, and riders new to their restricted licence, riding LAMS-approved machines at all posted speed limits, on the road. Bronze specifically focuses on improving riding knowledge and skills, and learning the test criteria required to pass the CBTA Restricted or Full licence assessment.

The Gold course is designed for experienced riders, and includes a flexible programme of content modules for higher skill levels, including more technical aspects of riding.

9:00 AM - 11:30 AM (2 hours 30 minutes)

Learn how to ride a motorcycle around a carpark area, using the clutch and changing gear. Can be a refresher for people who have not ridden for some time, or have had little riding experience.

Includes BHS training & BHS Test

For competent riders, our Basic Handling Skills course helps you learn the 4 parts of the BHS Test and the Test Criteria, provides you with practise and feedback, and includes the BHS licence Test. Motorcycle hire is available, or provide your own LAMS machine. You must be age 16 before attempting your Basic Handling Skills Test.

Passing each assessment can reduce the amount of time it takes you to progress to the next stage of your motorcycle licence. 1 hour Training sessions, and CBTA Pre Test Check Rides are available. Training via Ride Forever Bronze and Silver courses is highly recommended.

Roadsafe's 1 Hour Training session is one on one, covering a variety of roads and traffic situations. Riders are provided with real time feedback on their riding for the purpose of a refresher, to boost confidence, or for riders preparing for their licence test/assessment.
